General Certification Information:

Question:  If I take one of these courses, will I receive an ASQ certification?

Answer:  No. You will receive a “Certificate of Course Completion” if instructor-specified attendance and homework requirements have been met. You will not, however, receive an “ASQ Certification” unless you also register for and pass the ASQ Certification Examination.
Question: What happens if I fail the ASQ Certification Examination?
Answer: No single course of study can possibly guarantee anyone that they will be able to pass an ASQ certification examination. ASQ Certification is a peer-based assessment of one’s mastery of a Body of Knowledge combined with the practical application of that knowledge over time. Many ASQ SFV instructors will, however, allow their course participants who do not pass the related ASQ Certification Exam the first time through to repeat the next exam preparation class (once, only) at no expense (if a subsequent class is held by that instructor).
